Fulford Cycles Movember charity ride returns on November 30 (video)
Fancy a mustachioed ride this November? Fulford Cycles' Movember ride from York Minster on November 30 will raise money for male cancer awareness.
Fulford Cycles’ annual Movember charity ride returns on Sunday, November 30 between York Minster and the Fulford shop.
Last year around 120 cyclists of all ages raised £900 through selling teas, coffees and cakes, as well as raffles and auctions after the ride.
Money raised on the eight-mile ride will go towards raising awareness of male related cancer, including prostate and testicular cancer.
Fulford Cycles hope to attract over 150 riders this year and once again aim to award prizes for the best Mo Bro, Mo Sista and Mo Kid moustaches.
If you join in the fun you can either register on the Movember website and follow the three stages to join our team (FULFORD HAIRY CYCLISTS!) or simply turn up at York Minster at midday for the ride.
For the keener riders, Selby Cycling Club will be leading a 35-40 mile ride in the morning, departing the Fulford shop at 9am, and meeting up with the rest of the riders at the Minster.
