Giant-Alpecin release information of the injuries suffered in their training camp crash

John Degenkolb is reported to have had successful surgery, while Warren Barguil has fractured his shoulder in a head-on crash with a car at a Giant-Alpecin training camp

Giant-Alpecin has released the details of the injuries sustained by its riders in the head-on crash suffered on Saturday in Calpe, Spain.

John Degenkolb wrote a message to his Facebook fans reporting that his finger was repaired following the crash, while Tour de France general classification rider Warren Barguil suffered a fractured wrist.
