DALKIIA F1-ZERO FUSELAGE
DISTRIBUTOR Ciclismo stumbled across Dalkiia in a local bike shop on a recent visit to Japan. Impressed with the company?s attention to detail and high quality of carbon used in its production combined with the low price, Ciclismo is introducing Dalkiia to the UK.
Bearing what look like all the hallmarks of a top-end TT frameset, Dalkiia has built the F1-Zero using high-modulus 6K carbon. The Japanese firm has worked with Ciclismo to further improve the frame design, resulting in full internal cable routing for front and rear derailleur and rear brake.
Using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) in the design of the F1-Zero, Dalkiia has increased the layers of carbon and overall size of the bottom bracket junction, to improve stiffness.
Geometry throughout all sizes uses a steep 76deg seat tube used in combination with a size specific head angle to give a balanced ride. The F1-Zero has been designed with a maximum down tube depth of 72mm, with the largest point of the seat tube a maximum of 68mm. A full carbon aero fork and aero carbon post complete the package.
Expect to see these frames hitting UK shores by the end of March. They will be available directly through Ciclismo and an exclusive dealer network. Price is expected to be in the region of £799 and will include frame, fork and carbon seatpost.
