The Vuelta a España released the official startlist of the 22 teams that will take part in the 2012 race from Saturday 18 August to Sunday 9 September.

Each team consists of nine riders, bringing the total number of competitors to 198.

 

Defending 2011 Vuelta a Espana winner Juan José Cobo (Movistar Team) wears the number one dossard.
