The 10-panel design of the Pro Gel bibshorts led to a great fit all over, with mesh bibs that allow for great breathability and stopped any overheating.
We found the pro gel insert probably one of the best on the test with plenty of padding in the right places to optimise comfort during a long day in the saddle.
The elasticated band round the leg gripper was surprisingly comfortable, despite only relying on a couple of silicone dashes to ensure the shorts didn't ride up.
