The pad felt quite wide and a little cardboard-like for the first few rides but, like a decent pair of shoes, once bedded-in and shaped to fit, became extremely comfortable.

With more acronyms and trademarked names printed up the back than appear on any other shorts here, I'm happy to say these words are not just jargon.

The French firm has clearly put a lot of thought into the Infinity.
