It doesn’t seem like yesterday that Alejandro Valverde was pulling on the rainbow jersey in Innsbruck to crown the 2018 season.

But January is here and after an eventful off-season the cycling landscape looks a little bit different. Team Sky are set for their final season in their current form, high profile riders have moved teams and a selection of new teams have been created to accommodate them.

In the first episode of The Lead Out, Paul Knott, Simon Richardson and former pro rider Yanto Barker analyse the off-season movements and predict for themselves the results in the big races of the 2019 season.
