Manchester track World Cup 2011: Cycling Weekly's coverage index>>>>
Manchester's Track Cycling World Cup provided some exciting racing and memorable moments. Now British Cycling have released a video of the view from the athlete's enclosure.
The three and a half minute-long video features interviews with Victorial Pendleton, Chris Hoy, Bradley Wiggins and others as they provide their opinions on the Manchester weekend.
The weekend was a mixed bag for the British team medals-wise. They topped the medals table with golds for the men and women's pursuit teams and for Chris Hoy in the Keirin, but might have hoped for more in the sprinting and omnium events.
British Cycling's video, however, shows the riders to be upbeat about the weekend, and particularly with the crowd's contribution – at times during the event the atmosphere was electric.
