Saxo Bank: Team Profile
Saxo Bank
UCI ProTour team
Having won last year?s Tour with Carlos Sastre in their former guise as CSC, and with a mighty roster of very capable performers in the ranks, Saxo should be sitting pretty.
But Sastre flew the coup for Cervélo, so tour leader responsibilities for the major tours fall squarely on the narrow shoulders of Andy Schleck. This could be the year he makes the step up to a serious contender for the overall, with brother Frank not far behind him.
Fabian Cancellara is the main man for one-day races and time trials, while the management are tipping Dane Matti Breschel for big things in the Classics.
