T-MOBILE SACK ULLRICH AND SEVILLA

Jan Ullrich

The T-Mobile team has sacked Jan Ullrich and Oscar Sevilla by fax after they became embroiled in the 'Operacion Puerto' doping investigation in Madrid.

Ulrich revealed he had been sacked by fax on Thursday but said he would fight the decision and recently reiterated that he was innocent.

"I am very disappointed about the fact the decision was not communicated to me personally but by T-Mobile's lawyers in a fax," Ullrich was quoted as saying.

"I think it's a shame that I have given so many years of good service and for all that I have done for the team, that I be seen as just a fax number."
