BONTRAGER SPEED LIMIT BRAKES

Better known for providing wheels, tyres and handlebars for Trek bikes, the Bontrager component line is gradually expanding with the addition of the Speed Limit brakeset.
With a slightly retro single-pivot look, the Speed Limit brake caliper set forms part of the upgrade line that includes such other goodies as a carbon chainset and bars.
Despite the single-pivot appearance, the brakes are in fact dual-pivot and have a clever hidden pivot adding extra leverage to the stopping power.
A caliper-based quick-release system makes these brakes compatible with all road brake levers.Weighing 270g per pair ? 44g lighter than Dura-Ace, these are a good choice for the weight obsessed.
The styling may not be to everyone?s taste, but there is definitely room for more challengers in the high-end road component market, making the Speed Limits a welcome addition and all for £89.99.
