CW5000 sunset sunrise challenge photos
The CW5000 March challenge of getting a sunrise or sunset image got people riding out to some scenic spots with their camera phones

One of our two March challenges for CW5000 riders was to do a ride at sunset or sunrise and then send in photo evidence. Designed not to inspire big mile riding but instead to think about your routes and perhaps find a new location where you might, with a weather window, capture the perfect moment. It's a challenge we ran last year, and the photos were amazing. Scroll through the gallery below to see who rose to the challenge this time around.

There's still plenty of time to get a photograph and send it in. And as the weather improves and the evenings stretch out toward the end of the month there should be more opportunities.
But it's not that easy. First you have to ride to a suitable spot with a view east or west facing, then keep an eye on the weather forecast, and finally hope for a clear sky or gap in the clouds.
If you get a photo you can send it to us at cycling@futurenet.com or post it to the CW5000 Facebook group. We'll add more pictures to this gallery at the end of the month.
