Geraint Thomas takes to You Tube
Famous Welsh presenters include Griff Rhys-Jones, Sian Lloyd and the late Paula Yates. Now Geraint Thomas is angling to join them. The Team Sky rider has started posting videos of behind-the-scenes Team Sky banter on You Tube.
Three videos have been uploaded, each presented by Thomas and providing quirky insight into Team Sky's riders.
For example, did you know that Ben Swift once set himself on fire whilst making pancakes?
While not exactly Oscar material, one video entertainingly covers Thomas's quest to find the biggest man on the team. In this first episode (we're promised more) the boyish Swift goes head to head with rough and ready Kiwi sprinter Greg Henderson.
Another video features Ian Stannard's sporting predictions - he's probably not the person to listen to if you're into your betting- while the third goes backstage at the IG Markets Square Mile Challenge.
Thomas posts on You Tube as MrGThomas86.
