WORLD TRACK CHAMPS DAY 4: MORNING REPORT

A brief program of racing on Sunday morning in the Track World Championships in Palma saw Craig MacLean defeated by his long-standing rival Theo Bos in the semi-final round of the sprints.

Dutchman Bos edged MacLean into silver last year in 2006 at Bordeaux, and on this occasion the double World Champion once again had the edge on the Scot, beating him in two successive rounds.
