Rapha celebrates 'a century of style and panache' that is the Giro d'Italia with a new collection of clothing along with rides and screenings of every stage
Rapha has made a habit of celebrating the great things in cycling, which include significant rider wins, races and moments throughout cycling's history - Rapha usually celebrates with a new clothing collection.

Of course with the Giro d'Italia starting on Friday, the British brand has done it again! This time Rapha celebrates the 100th edition of the Grand Tour with a new special clothing range that honours Italian rider Fausto Coppi.
The 12 piece range includes both on and off the bike items of clothing and accessories and uses similar manufacturing and stitching techniques to the jerseys worn in the 1960's, according to Rapha.

The collection is a tribute to that era that Rapha calls 'the golden age of Italian cycling'. Each piece has a different design and details, which reflect different aspects of Coppi's style and a nod towards his race victories. Rear more here at Rapha.CC
The highlights of the range include the Coppi Rosa Merino jersey that takes inspiration from the leaders pink jersey. Coppi Classic bib shorts that matches the range, a silk scarf and most typically a cycling cap.
A reference that Rapha maybe should have left in the 60's is the Coppi Merino tracksuit designed to replicate the warm-up outfit of those athletes back in the day.
The matching trousers and jacket have Coppi's signature and uses woven honeycomb texture double knit that provides a premium feel, just maybe keep that at home... £200 for the limited edition jacket and £180 for the matching trousers.
