Ten WorldTour teams, including Sky, Movistar and Dimension Data, will be on the start line for the 2016 Tour of Britain, which begins on September 4.
Dimension Data, who won the race last year with Edvald Boasson Hagen, could also field home favourite Mark Cavendish, while Alex Dowsett is expected to race for Movistar.
BMC, Cannondale, Lotto-Soudal, Orica-BikeExchange, Giant-Alpecin, LottoNL-Jumbo and Trek-Segafredo are the other top-tier teams confirmed to start.
One Pro Cycling will represent Britain from the UCI Pro Continental ranks, with Caja Rural-Seguros RGA possibly featuring young British climbing talent Hugh Carthy.

Team Wiggins qualify automatically from the list of domestic British teams thanks to Owain Doull's top-10 finish in last year's race, with the final three UK teams to be announced on August 1.
