Offering not just comfort, nor even total comfort, but Super Total Comfort, these Sportful Super Total Comfort bib shorts certainly make you expect a lot from them. And thankfully, they deliver, being one of the most comfortable bib shorts that I’ve had the pleasure of wearing for long rides.

It’s on all-day (or even multi-day) epics that the Sportful Super Total Comfort bib shorts really come into their own. Even at the end of five or six hour rides, I rarely found myself needing to ease up out of the saddle in order to ease pressure on my under carriage. What’s more even when putting in long rides on consecutive days (made possible by the impressively quick drying Total Comfort pad), the Sportful Super Total Comfort bib shorts continued to deliver.

However there’s much more to these shorts than a cushy pad. The mesh bibs are wide and well ventilated, doing a good job of keeping the main body of the shorts in place but without digging into your shoulders. The silicon grippers around the bottom of the shorts prevent them from riding up but without pulling at your skin, while the flat-lock stitching used throughout both looks and feels great.

The only downside is the price, which is above average to say the least. However if you’re looking for an exceptionally comfortable pair of shorts for long days in the saddle, then the Sportful Super Total Comfort bib shorts are the ones for you.
