It's a durable tyre and, thanks to the Black Chili compound, grip is plentiful. It's worth noting that the GT only comes in a 25mm width.

A recent addition to the vast and frankly often bewildering Continental road tyre range, the GT fits between the winter Gatorskin and the race-oriented GP4000S.
A shallow tread aids grip in poor conditions while the sidewalls have 50 per cent more material than the 4000S.
