Strava branded cycling jersey, bib shorts, gilet, arm warmers and more
Online ride logging service Strava has launched an expanded range of cycling clothing for 2015.
The newly released Strava-branded kit comes in the company’s distinctive orange colour, and includes men’s and women’s jerseys, bib shorts, gilets, arm warmers and socks. The clothing is made by Swiss company Cuore, who also make IAM Cycling’s team kit.
A line of casual clothing is also available, including T-shirts emblazoned with the messages ‘Prove it’ and ‘Kudos’.
The 2015 Strava jerseys are priced at $120 (currently £76.65), the big tights are $165 (£105.39) and the gilet $125 (£79.84). Currently, you have to buy the items through the US-based store, but Strava are working to have items available in local currency in the near future.
“The Strava store is really popular with cyclists in the UK and we hope you’ll like the new kit we’ve added to our range recently,” said Gareth Nettleton, Director of International Marketing for Strava.
“We’re working hard to make our store more accessible and local to customers across the globe. Soon, you’ll be able to pay in your local currency and in 2015 we’ll be internationalising the store further which will mean shipping to the UK will be faster and more straightforward. But for members currently purchasing from the UK, please do be aware that International import duties and taxes may be payable.”
We still think Strava are missing a trick by not producing a T-shirt with the KOM crown design on it.
