Emily Tillett
Based in South Wales, Emily began cycling almost two decades ago when her parents signed her and her brothers up for a week-long taster course at Newport Velodrome. She quickly discovered a love for the sport that would take her to the highest level as a junior. Representing Great Britain, she competed at Nations Cups on the road, the Junior World and European Track Championships, and went on to claim a National title on the track.
After this, she completed a degree in Sport and Exercise Science, graduating with first-class honours. This was followed by a master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Loughborough University, where she also raced for the Elite Development Team, Loughborough Lightning. Emily is now a trainee sport and exercise psychologist, freelance tech writer, coach and mentor - and she still races her bike for fun at local mid-week crits!
