Josh Patterson

Josh Patterson enjoys all types of cycling but, when not riding for work, he prefers his roads unpaved and his singletrack steep and rocky. Hailing from the Flint Hills of Kansas, Josh was a pioneer in the gravel cycling movement and a five-time finisher of the grueling 200-mile Unbound Gravel race. His deep knowledge of cycling comes from his time as a racer, professional mechanic, frame builder, and editor of multiple cycling publications. When not writing about cycling tech, he can be found exploring the singletrack and lonely gravel roads that surround his Colorado home.
