Sir Bradley Wiggins is selling four rare vintage guitars from his extensive collection, all Epiphone models from the 1960s.
Wiggins is pictured with each of the guitars on the Facebook page of the New Kings Road Vintage Guitar Emporium, which is selling on the models for the Olympic, Tour de France and world time trial champion.
The guitars are all made by US manufacturer Epiphone: listed as a 1961 Casino, a 1964 Casino and two Al Caiola Customs models from the late 1960s. All are worth several thousands pounds each.

Wiggins has a well-known association with music, and has an affection for Mod culture. He appeared on stage playing one of his guitars with Paul Weller at a charity event after his Olympic time trial success in 2012.
Wiggins is currently riding in the Tour of Britain with Team Wiggins having left the Sky squad in April. He is currently training with the Great Britain team pursuit squad with an eye on selection for the discipline in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.

Nigel Wynn worked as associate editor on CyclingWeekly.com, he worked almost single-handedly on the Cycling Weekly website in its early days. His passion for cycling, his writing and his creativity, as well as his hard work and dedication, were the original driving force behind the website’s success. Without him, CyclingWeekly.com would certainly not exist on the size and scale that it enjoys today. Nigel sadly passed away, following a brave battle with a cancer-related illness, in 2018. He was a highly valued colleague, and more importantly, an exceptional person to work with - his presence is sorely missed.
