February 15th will see tickets go on sale for the 2007 World Track Championships in Mallorca, Spain. The event will be held over four days from March 29th to April 1st.
There is currently one single price for the first two days - the Thursday and Friday - of 15 euros [10 pounds] per day. The Saturday and Sunday will cost 20 euros [12.50] per day. A ticket for all four days costs 50 euros [35 pounds].
The Worlds? will be held this year in the brand-new Palma Arena velodrome, near the Mallorca capital. There was some initial concern that the velodrome might not be built on time for March but the UCI have now said that they are satisfied the building will be in place for the Championships.
At first tickets will only be on sale at the velodrome?s offices between four and eight pm each afternoon, although when contacted by CW the Spanish Cycling Federation - responsible for hosting the event - have promised that an on-line ticket sales system will be up and running ?soon.
