Fresh from the Giro d'Italia, World Champion Mark Cavendish attended a ride around Regent's Park in London to promote British Cycling's Sky Ride campaign.
The Sky rider was joined by 150 fans, who were made aware of the ride on Cavendish's Twitter feed, by and Sky Ride ambassador Kelly Brook.

Further details have been announced for the Box Hill Cycling Expo, one the three cycling festivals taking place around Box Hill on the weekend of the Olympic cycling road races.
The event is run in partnership with the National Trust and will offer camping facilities on land to the south of the hill for the road races on July 28 and 29.

The 'Savage Skills' stunt team as well as a number of trade exhibitors will also be present at the event.

Team UK Youth rider Fredrik Johansson is expected to be out of action for around three months after he was involved in a hit and run incident when training in Wales.
The Swede broke two vertebrae and suffered facial injuries in the incident after returning from the AnPost Ras. He announced on his Twitter that he is in good spririts and is motivated to come back from his injuries.
Former Brighton to Glasgow winner George Kessock passed away in April aged 90, CW has learned.
Kessock won the race in 1947 and was a stalwart of the early British racing scene, co-founding the South London based Polhill Racing Club and mentoring a number of its younger members.

Ian Steel, whose historic 1952 victory in the East European Peace Race is still ranked
as one of the best ever British stage race performances will star at the 70th birthday celebrations of the British League of Racing Cyclists (BLRC) at London's Riverside Studios in Hammersmith on Sunday, June 10.
The afternoon will feature archive footage of several post war events, including the 1952
Tour of Britain.
The BLRC was famously formed in 1942 to establish road racing which had been banned in Britain
for half a century. The League were branded "rebels" and became outcasts from the National Cyclists Union, the governing body. After a long and protracted "war", the two organisations amalgamated in 1959, to form the British Cycling Federation.
Tickets are £9.50 (concessions, £8.50). 2pm start.
British riders Alex Dowsett, Ben Swift and Luke Rowe are all in action for Team Sky today the Tour of Luxembourg.
The five stage race kicks off in the capital, Luxembourg, with a 2.6km time trial which will suit former British time trial champion Dowsett, who makes his return from a broken elbow sustained at the Three Days of West Flanders in March.
Swift will also be riding his first race after he had to pull out of the Giro d'Italia the day before the start after crashing and fracturing his shoulder. The Yorkshireman will hope for a strong performance as he aims to be selected for the Olympic Games road race.
Bradley Wiggins yesterday launched the Bradley Wiggins Foundation. Although further details are yet to be confirmed about the foundation, Wiggins tweeted that it will have three main purposes.
These are to promote participation in sport, to support keen and talented athletes from all sports and to provide equipment or facilities to allow participation in sport as an individual, through clubs, local communities or school.

Endura Racing have slipped down to fifth place in the UCI Europe Tour ranking following their recent focus on the domestic calendar which has seen them dominate the Premier Calendar and, until recently, the Tour Series.

Ex Royal Marines, Matt Blake and Liam Thomas are taking on the Columbia HellRider this Saturday June 2 to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society.
The event, which takes place at West Wycombe Park in Buckinghamshire, involves teams completing as many laps of a 5km run and 8km mountain bike as possible in eight hours.
"Our training is going well and we have planned out how we are
going to tackle the race. Hopefully we can reach our target of £1500 in
the next couple of weeks!" said Blake.
As well as the event, there will be music and trade stands around the grounds of West Wycombe Park for spectators.
