SRAM Hydraulic Brake Recall

Just seven months after SRAM’s Hydraulic Brake launch, a limited recall is expected.

Following a series of investigations, the US firm recorded safety and performance concerns on the new brake systems.

SRAM has released a range of serial numbers for the future recall, which include: 36T30993767 to 42T3993767. This equates to 3,553 of the total brakes produced. The serial number is found on the brake caliper (rim/disc) and also on the box containing the brake.

SRAM are in co-operation with the CPSC (US Consumer Product Safety Commission) to announce a recall in the near future and will be issuing an official notice once the recall has been approved.

Whilst SRAM insist there have been no failure incidents, we urge you to contact your dealer immediately.
