Production company Sky High films have released a video with highlights from Sunday’s Monsal Hill Climb, which was won by Graham Briggs of Rapha Condor (who doesn’t seem to feature in the video).
But the film captures the great atmosphere at the hill climb, which is now in its 84th year, with a drone camera picking up some superb aerial shots of the event.

Riders were blessed with sunshine all day for the race up the famous climb in the Peak District, which has an average gradient of 16% over its 617 metre distance.
Russell Downing and Adam Blythe took second and third place respectively behind Briggs, while Jessie Walker of Matrix Vulpine took the women’s title.
