You can trust Cycling Weekly.
Thinner than the usual Belgian style winter cycling hat, it kept enough wind from the ears to stop the cold breaking in.
The seam below the peak did flip open and while being visibly an issue, it never caused problems with riding.
Despite being waterproof on the front, in never felt too hot either.
