ITALIAN PURSUIT OPENS REVOLUTION
Next Saturday's (November 18th) Revolution track meeting will start with an Italian Pursuit. The race will see the seven visiting ProTour riders combining with the cream of young British talent in a two-team dual.
The two teams of seven will start on opposite sides of Manchester's velodrome and cover seven laps of the 250m track. The leading rider will swing off after each lap, with the teams themselves deciding on their starting order.
The two teams are:
Team 1 - Bradley Wiggins (Cofidis), Gilberto Simoni (Saunier Duval), Roger Hammond (Discovery Channel), Bradley McGee (Française des Jeux), Adam Blythe, Matt Rowe, Peter Kennaugh.
Team 2 - David Millar (Saunier Duval), Jimmy Casper (Cofidis), Yaroslav Popovych (Discovery Channel), Ian Stannard, Alex Dowsett, Jonathon Bellis, Steven Burke.
