Jason Kenny and Laura Trott get married in low-key wedding
Laura Trott and Jason Kenny tie the knot at a private wedding in Cheshire, having reportedly turned down an offer to appear in a magazine

It was on the cards for a while, but Team GB's golden couple Laura Trott and Jason Kenny tied the knot over the weekend in a very low-key wedding that caught many by surprise.
Following the attention they received from their medal-winning exploits at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, it was quite something that the couple managed to get married without the media's gaze, with the first hint being a tweet from Kenny the morning after the event.
"Good morning Mrs Kenny" he tweeted, with an accompanying picture of Trott lying in bed, joined by the couple's two dogs.
The couple reportedly turned down an offer to have the wedding featured in a magazine, preferring instead to marry in a private ceremony at St Alban and St Paul Church in Macclesfield.

The reception at Hilltop Country House featured family and friends, including London 2012 team pursuit teammates Dani King, who was a bridesmaid, and Joanna Rowsell-Shand.
The venue posted a series of pictures of the couple's day, including one of their first dance.
Kenny matched Sir Chris Hoy's record of six Olympic gold medals with three on the track at Rio 2016, while Trott became Britain's most successful female Olympian by winning her third and fourth golds in Brazil.
