Ryan Mullen unveils Cannondale-Drapac's 2017 kit

Cannondale-Drapac have changed kit supplier from Castelli to POC

Cannondale-Drapac have released their new kit for the 2017 season... but Ryan Mullen thinks he looks like Shrek in it.

The WorldTour outfit released their new attire at the Rouleur Classic in London on Friday, and for the first time it was designed entirely by POC, with Team Sky's newest kit makers Castelli no longer producing their kits.

Not much has really changed, though: the light green still adorns the jersey with black shorts to accompany it. The biggest change is the large block of black on the back of the jersey.

Subtle changes have also been made, including a new red neck cuff and co-sponsor Drapac having its name written in red down the shorts.

Mullen modelled the kit next to Davide Formolo and while he was full of praise for the way it looks, he wasn't too keen in who was supporting him on stage.

The Irish rider quipped: "It's as good as any kit I've ridden in, it's not very slimming though. I feel like Shrek stood up here, especially next to Davide Formolo."

Fifth in the World Championships time trial, Mullen is one of several exciting young riders in the Argyle team's roster for 2017: Brits Hugh Carthy and Jon Dibben are joining the team, too.
