Inside the mad world of an under-six cyclocross race (video)
On-board footage captures some great cross skills in the under-six boys and girls race from the Ulster Cyclocross series
The Vuelta a Espana? Forget it. The world championships? Don't even bother. Because this is surely the best on-board footage from a race yet, as we're taken inside the under-six race from the Ulster Cyclocross Series round two.
Youtube user Gary McKeegan uploaded the footage from the race which took place last Sunday in Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park, Belfast, with the video showing some pretty awesome skills from the kids involved in what looks like quite a frantic race.
34 youngsters took part in the race, making two laps round a short circuit, with Rhys Hepburn (Island Wheelers) taking the win ahead of Emer Heverin (Castlereagh CC) in second and Patrick Elliott (Carn Wheelers) in third.
