Milan-San Remo 2015 start list
The provisional list of starters for the 2015 edition of Milan-San Remo (Sunday, March 22) has been released. Twenty five teams of eight riders apiece will line up in Milan.
British riders are well represented in the first Monument of the season, with Team Sky alone fielding five Brits in its team: last year's third-place-finisher Ben Swift will join Luke Rowe, Ian Stannard, Geraint Thomas and Andy Fenn.
Also on the start line are 2009 winner Mark Cavendish (Etixx-QuickStep), Simon Yates (Orica-GreenEdge), Steve Cummings (MTN-Qhubeka) and Alex Dowsett (Movistar).
Defending champion Alexander Kristoff (Katusha) wears the number one plate.

Nigel Wynn worked as associate editor on CyclingWeekly.com, he worked almost single-handedly on the Cycling Weekly website in its early days. His passion for cycling, his writing and his creativity, as well as his hard work and dedication, were the original driving force behind the website’s success. Without him, CyclingWeekly.com would certainly not exist on the size and scale that it enjoys today. Nigel sadly passed away, following a brave battle with a cancer-related illness, in 2018. He was a highly valued colleague, and more importantly, an exceptional person to work with - his presence is sorely missed.
