Film of Mark Cavendish's Tour of Britain crash
Footage has surfaced of the incident on stage one of the Tour of Britain where Mark Cavendish hit a Rapha Condor team car - WARNING: film contains bad language
The moment that Mark Cavendish (Omega Pharma-QuickStep) clipped a Rapha Condor JLT team car during the opening stage of the 2014 Tour of Britain was caught on camera by a spectator.
Cavendish was making his way back up to the peloton after a 'comfort break' and appears to come into contact with the side of the Rapha team car just as it was assisting a rider.
Remarkably, Cavendish remounted his bike and managed to place third on the stage despite sustaining a leg injury.
