Eurosport will be showing around three hours of live coverage from Milan-San Remo on Saturday, March 18, with extended highlights that evening

The 2017 Milan-San Remo promises to be another explosive affair as the likes of Peter Sagan, Mark Cavendish, and John Degenkolb will headline the star-studded event in Northern Italy.

‘La Primavera’ brings attention back to the one-day races as Paris-Nice and Tirreno-Adriatico take centre stage at the beginning of March.

This year the race stands at 291km in length, meaning the riders will face at least seven hours in the saddle, and with it being one of the most prestigious events on the UCI WorldTour calendar it’s a victory any rider would want on their palmarès.

Arnaud Démare won Milan-San Remo last year ahead of Ben Swift and Jurgen Roelandts. But with 2009 winner Cavendish in attendance, many eyes will be on the Briton as he looks to add another victory to his glittering record.

With this year’s race threatening to be another classic, Eurosport will have live coverage on Eurosport 2, and if you miss the live coverage there will also be a highlights show to catch up with.

With ‘La Classicissima’ being one of the longest one-day races, thankfully Eurosport will not be showing a full coverage from start to finish.

Instead Eurosport 2 will jump into the action with 100km remaining, just in time to see the riders tackle the famous climbs such as the Cipressa and the Poggio.
