Pipe Lagging

It’s hard to guarantee your precious bike won’t suffer from some damage when you transport it on a car rack, but one simple product will help protect it: polyethylene foam pipe insulation.
Available from most big-name DIY stores, buy the widest stuff possible, then cut it to length and wrap it round the frame.
