Catch up with all the highlights and videos from the first week of the 2015 Tour de France

The Grand Départ in Utrecht now feels like a distant memory after an action packed – and unfortunately crash-heavy – first week in the 2015 Tour de France.

The main contenders have survived crosswinds, crashes and cobbles to reach the first rest day, but each with varying degrees of success. Both Vincenzo Nibali and Nairo Quintana find themselves well down on Chris Froome on the general classification; time losses they will be looking to overhaul when the race heads into the Pyrenees.

Stepping out of the shadow of the ‘big four’ is Tejay van Garderen, whose stage win in the team time trial keeps him in touch with Froome and ahead of the other GC riders.

The yellow jersey has already changed hands five times, across four different riders. Two of the yellow jersey wearers crashed out of the race whilst leading the GC, causing some to question if there is a curse of the maillot jaune.
