This is the final call for anybody thinking of heading over to Bike Blenheim Palace this weekend (August 18-19) where we're expecting the ultimate antidote to post-Olympic blues.
Our favourite bike fest has extended to a two-day affair this year with enough events on both days to keep every cycle fan happy. And this year nine of Team GB's Para Cycling stars will go head to head against six of their rivals from the Australian Paralympic squad in the 20km time trial (Saturday).
As well as that time trial, Saturday will also see a new 40km off-road sportive through Blenheim Park and its surroundings, while a Bike Polo tournament will offer good - if sometimes painful - viewing.
The Sunday brings the Cycling Weekly-sponsored sportive through the Cotswold's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with a choice of 60 or 100-mile routes; then there's the famous Brompton World Championships where Cycling Weekly's own Dr Hutch will be attempting to retain his title; and for more leisurely riders there's the 26.2-mile Breast Cancer Care ‘Pink Ribbonride'.
On both days there will be safe, car-free, family-friendly cycle routes through the Palace's grounds, cycle skill courses for children, and an Event Village with entertainment and exhibitors including Scott, Mavic, Schwalbe, Enigma Titanium, Rotor, Adidas, Magura, Cinelli and Campagnolo.
On-the-day general entry prices are £11.50 for adults, £8 for concessions and £6.50 for children under 16. Under-5s go free. Advance tickets and weekend passes are available online.
