Cyclists are forever monitoring their diet and, more importantly, their weight. After all, cycling is a sport where power to weight is so important and eating too much of the wrong thing can have significant implications on performance. Yet when it comes to alcohol, we treat it with an air of flippancy.

More and more breweries seem to be aligning themselves with cycling and we mentioned back in March that WorldTour team Etixx – Quick-Step has launched its very own beer in conjunction with Belgian brewers De Bie.
