Remco Evenepoel searching for move as Soudal-QuickStep boss denies money worries

The world champion is courting attention from more than just Ineos Grenadiers

Remco Evenepoel is looking to exit Soudal-QuickStep, as the team’s manager Patrick Lefevere called the claim that Ineos Grenadiers owner Jim Ratcliffe was set to buy the team as “nonsense”. 

Cycling Weekly understands that world champion Evenepoel and his entourage have approached other teams in the peloton, with the 23-year-old growing increasingly concerned about the future direction of the Belgian team where he has a contract until the end of 2026.
