Bike Ribbon Wafer handlebar tape review

Once on, the Wafer was relatively grippy, especially in dry conditions, though once wet it gets dirty very quickly and it wouldn't take long for it too look tired.

Bike Ribbon offers a number of handlebar tapes to suit most styles and budgets, but we decided to go for the Wafer as a budget option.
Wrapping was a little tricky to get on as the material doesn't stretch, meaning it was hard to get it right.

Henry Robertshaw began his time at Cycling Weekly working with the tech team, writing reviews, buying guides and appearing in videos advising on how to dress for the seasons. He later moved over to the news team, where his work focused on the professional peloton as well as legislation and provision for cycling.
