Free Tour de France 'Fan Park' to be set up in London

British fans of the Tour de France will be able to watch the race live on a big screen in a free 'Fan Park' set up by the race's organiser Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO) at Canary Wharf, London, from July 15 to 21.
In addition to live coverage of the Alpine stages of the Tour in the Fan Park, visitors will also be able to take part in several Tour-themed activities, including photo exhibitions and regional French food stalls - as well as some produce from 2014 Grand Depart host, Yorkshire.
Visitors will have the "opportunity to plunge into the atmosphere of the Grande Boucle", says ASO.
The appearance of the park further strengthens the ties between the Tour and Britain. The Tour paid a highly successful visit to the capital in 2007, and will return to London en route from Yorkshire next year.
The Fan Park will be open from 10.30am in the morning to 10pm at night from July 15 to July 21, the final day of the 2013 Tour.
More details will be released soon on the Tour de France Fan Park official website.
