Produced in limited numbers Shimano have given a number of Tour de France riders a pair including Ian Stannard of Team Sky and Simon Gerrans who is currently in the yellow jersey.
The shoes come with a carbon fibre sole, has a buckle with two straps to secure the foot and is made with vented synthetic material called Rovencia that is said to add to the support whilst helping to mould to the foot.
