Peter Sagan: 17 questions to see how well you know the new World Champ
We all know about the wheelies, sprints, descents and a string of second places, but how well do you really know the life and career of Peter Sagan?
With his win in the World Championships in Richmond, Peter Sagan took arguably the biggest victory of his career to date.
But this wasn't out of the blue and is unlikely to be a flash in the pan: he's won numerous Grand Tour stages and collected a number of green jerseys at the Tour de France.
A prodigious talent capable of winning on a range of parcours and against the clock too, the Slovak is a force in modern cycling. This season wasn't all positive though and a lacklustre Classics campaign called his prospects and wage packet into question.
He turned things around at the Tour of California and went on to have a successful second half of the season which culminated in a rainbow jersey.
He'll now carry that jersey into next year, where he'll be looking to dominate the Classics and finally take a Monument win… and on present form, who'd bet against him?
In honour of the new World Champ, answer these 17 questions to see how well you really know him.
