With the Tour Down Under kicking off the WorldTour calendar and the Tour de San Luis showcasing what form other pros have (and perhaps haven’t) got after their winter training, the 2015 cycling season is finally here.
These season-opening races are also great for those who prefer the bikes to the people riding them, when we get to see the new machines in action. This included the long-awaited official appearance of Sram’s new wireless electronic groupset.

Despite the sun rising on the new season and all the joys and positive news that brings with it, the week was still marred by more than one doping ban being issued.
The bad news unfortunately also went beyond professional cycling – and showed the depths some people will plunge, when thieves in Grimsby found a new way to steal bikes from a charity campaigner’s garage.
