Great for new riders looking for long-term comfort. Racers, however, look away now
Lots of Flex
Considered to be an entry-level shoe, the R087s look a lot more expensive.
The all-white design is very smart, and is based closely on Shimano’s more expensive models.
Comfort is excellent, and with good vents, riding in warm summer conditions was a breeze too. The downside to maximum comfort though is a good deal of flexibility.
But at this price, they’ll do for the summer, and all winter too, as long as 100 per cent power transfer isn’t your only concern.
