Rohan Dennis (BMC) claimed the overall title of the 2015 Santos Tour Down Under on Sunday, the opening WorldTour race of the season.
Dennis successfully defended his overall lead in the race after victory on stage three, fending off an attack by Sky’s Richie Porte on stage five to hang on to a slim two-second advantage on GC.
Cadel Evans gave BMC its second place on the podium in third, in what was his final WorldTour race before retirement from the sport.
