Britain’s Bradley Wiggins (Garmin-Slipstream) has won the final stage of the Three Days of De Panne this afternoon in Belgium.
Wiggins’ win in the 14.75km individual time trial has given Britain its second win of the day at the race after Mark Cavendish (Columbia-High Road) won the morning’s road stage.
It’s Wiggins’ first win of the season after coming second in TTs during Paris-Nice and the Criterium International.
Wiggins finished ahead of Holland’s Lieuwe Westra (Vacansoleil) in second and Belgium’s Stijn Devolder (Quick Step) in third.
Frederik Willems (Liquigas) won the race overall.
