Giro Trans Road review

Giro Trans Road
Cycling Weekly Verdict

On the bike, they felt light and ultra-secure, even when pushing hard on the climbs, thanks to a wide range of adjustment and a very supportive heel cup.

    Not much

Giro worked in conjunction with finishing kit expert Easton to produce the carbon composite sole used in this, the Trans Road shoe.

The sole is just one area where it's clear a lot of thought has gone into the design.

For starters, three sizes of arch support are included as part of the clever colour-coded Supernatural fit system, and while we found the fit a little on the narrow side, Giro also offers a wider, HV (High Volume) version - as well as half-sizes - so finding one that fits perfectly is unlikely to be a problem, even for those with atypical feet shapes.
