Alex Dowsett seemed to enjoy his time trial bike for most parts of the 2015 season, what with the Hour Record and the Bayern Rundfahrt victory, and on June 25 the Movistar rider stormed to a record-equalling fourth National Time Trial title.

Dowsett completed the 44.8km course around Cadwell Park, near Lincoln, in 1-00-11, over three and a half minutes faster than his nearest rival, NFTO’s Edmund Bradbury.
The win moved him level with Stuart Dangerfield on four Nationals wins and saw him regain his British champion jersey from Sir Bradley Wiggins, who took the win in Abergaveney in 2014.
The video above is the full four and a half hour broadcast of the Nationals TT, so if you’ve got a few hours to kill then you can watch the whole thing, but if you don’t you can just press play and see the end of Dowsett’s phenomenal ride.
Dowsett will surely be back at the Nationals again in 2016 in Stockton-on-Tees, with his eyes on a record-breaking fifth title – and who would bet against him?
