Peter Sagan performs F1-style pitstop during Abu Dhabi Tour stage four (video)
Peter Sagan enters the Yas Marina circuit's pit lane during stage four of the Abu Dhabi Tour for a bike change
When you ride around a Formula 1 circuit it would be rude not to make use of all of the track, including the pit lane.
On stage four of the Abu Dhabi Tour, which saw riders complete 20 laps of the Yas Marina circuit, Peter Sagan took a little time out mid-race to take a pit-stop.
Into the pit lane he went, dismounted outside his team's garage and swapped his Specialized Tarmac for his Venge ViAS, changed his white helmet for a black one and adjusted his sunglasses.
If you think that team owner Oleg Tinkov would not approve of his rider's antics, think again, because the Russian was right there to give his man a handshake as he got back on his bike.
The bike swap clearly didn't affect Sagan's racing, as he sped back into the peloton and sprinted to second place on the stage, behind Team Sky's Elia Viviani.
It's great to see that Sagan's new world champion title hasn't stopped him having fun on the bike.
